This Sunday, Starbucks, City Dog, and Lucky Dog Pet Boutique will host a charity dog wash event to raise money for the San Diego Humane Society and bring together canine enthusiasts from the evolving East Village neighborhood.
East Village, the largest and fastest growing community in San Diego, is smack-dab in the middle of an authentic urban renaissance. And what better way to bring this rebirthing community together than through a volunteer event for man and man’s best friend?
The event will feature dog washing, nail trimming, pooch pampering, and extreme makeovers for lucky shelter dogs.
The event also marks the belated grand opening of an East Village Starbucks, a staple for any culture cluster. The new store is located on the corner of 10th & Market.
Join your neighbors for an afternoon of canines, coffee, and district discovery, Sunday April 2nd from 10-9 at City Dog, located at 545 Park Boulevard, San Diego, CA 92101.
If you wish to volunteer, contact City Dog at (619) 269-0201. Look for more updates on this and other pet related events at www.shopluckydog.com. For additional information, contact Lucky Dog (619) 696-0364 or drop in at 415 Market Street, San Diego, CA 92101.
